WHY I AM RUNNING:

I want to build on the successful track record of leadership and accomplishment of previous councils during the 17 years we have lived here and watched Golden turn into the community with “so much going for it” that we know and enjoy today.

I believe that we must honor our City’s rich historical roots and traditions, protect its beauty, and plan sensibly for its future amid change that will come whether we want it to or not.

I am ready to turn recommendations and priorities of sustainability, walkability, bikeability, and housing affordability into policy and actions. 

I will be involved in and an advocate for the South Golden neighborhood plan already underway.

I believe that it's vital to plan for and anticipate the impact of light rail on Ward One and help ensure that the light rail station and surrounding area development is a plus rather than a minus for Ward One residents, fitting with both neighboring residents’ and the City’s vision and desires.

I will continue with the Golden Vision 2030 process to develop a comprehensive plan derived from our citizens’ hopes and dreams, with policies geared to guide our City for the next 20 years.
